The Page Six Magazine has gone quarterly and it’s come back with a vengeance thanks to its sexy cover girl, Heidi Klum. The Victoria’s Secret Angel and Project Runway host used the opportunity to respond to Karl Lagerfeld’s harsh comments that he didn’t know who Klum was and she is not supermodel.

“I don’t know why [Karl] said that. Maybe he wanted to be in the paper? Maybe he doesn’t understand what I do? It’s bizarre to me that he says he doesn’t know who I am because he’s dressed me in the past. I’ve worn Karl Lagerfeld. Not even Chanel – his line. Lagerfeld doesn’t just send random things everywhere, so it was a big thing for me [to wear his label] to the CFDA Awards a few years ago. I don’t know how he missed that, when he dressed me that time. But you know, it’s cool. People can say whatever they want to say. You can’t please everybody, and you can’t live your life wanting to please everybody either.”

The pregnant mother of three poses seductively on the cover of The Page Six Magazine (available inside the New York Post this Thursday Sepetember 10, and online on Friday September 11), photographed by Rankin – a photographer who she has no qualms about taking her clothes off for – as evident by in the other preview images.

While promoting her coffee table book, Heidi explains why she loves working with Rankin:

“I’ve been shooting with Rankin for seven years, and working with him is fun because he always makes me look different. And he always gets me to take my clothes off for some reason,” Klum said. “We’ll do some job, and then he’ll say, ‘Why don’t we shoot some more things,’ and I’ll wind up without anything on.”

And if you didn’t know what Lagerfeld said about Klum, here’s the quotes again:

“I don’t know Heidi Klum. She was never known in France. Claudia Schiffer also doesn’t know who she is.

“Heidi Klum is no runway model. She is simply too heavy and has too big a bust. And she always grins so stupidly. That is not avant-garde – that is commercial!”

Hopefully, this ends the saga of Kaiser Karl hating on Heidi.
