Kylie Minogue with the latest Chloe bag – the Bay
Australia’s singing Budgie, Kylie Minogue kicked off the British leg of her Showgirl Homecoming tour on New Year’s Eve at Wembly Arena after her battle with breast cancer last year. Known for her glamorous costumes and petite frame, the popstar is known for her ability to pull an outfit together as well.
So it comes as no surprise that Kylie was recently spotted toting around one of Chloe’s newest bags from their Spring Summer 2007 collection, the Bay bag.
According the to press release, the Chloe Bay bag is a “take on the seventies (inspired by Glora Vanderbilt) and is their handbag of season, covered with zippers and multiple pockets, (the Bay and the other SS07 Chloe bags) recall the charm of our grandmother’s handbags.”
Kylie sports the white Chloe Bay bag with a log-cabin patchwork (which was one of Gloria’s personal hobbies) also known as the quilted pattern. It’s also available in lambskin in a mocha or camel.
I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of the Bay bag, it doesn’t quite hit the spot with me like the Chloe Paddington and Chloe Edith did previously –causing me to go out and spend up big.

We can look forward to what Paulo Melim Andersson has to offer for the A/W07 season when it’s unveiled in February… he’s no Stella or Phoebe, but he was one of Marni’s Senior designers.
