Kate Moss’ neighbors complain about her teepees

It seems that Kate Moss’ every move is heavily scrutinized and criticized and while there is no place like a country home, it is now the location of the latest drama surrounding the model.

Neighbors at her Oxfordshire summer home have complained to the local planning authority about Moss’ two 15 feet teepees erected in her backyard (which are not the teepee’s pictured). Their complaints are that the tents are an eye sore on the 17th Centrury home reports the Daily Mail and also obscure the view of the Cotswold hills.

The complaints are set to be investigated by the West Oxfordshire District Council officials after an email was sent to the council regarding the legalities of the situation.

“Our investigating officer will visit as soon as possible to establish exactly what the situation is. I really don’t know the answer at this stage because there are many variables,” said planning officer Kim Smith. “It is perfectly legal, for example, to put up a marquee in your back garden for a wedding.”

With the popularity of designer teepee’s on the rise – Alice Temperley designed one last year for a resort in Mauritius, while Jade Jagger threw a party in an oversized one at the Ibiza villa – could teepee’s become the new must have fashion accessory?
