The classic Chanel 2.55 bag seems to getting back in the clutches of some stylish celebrities the last week or so, most likely fueled by the hype surrounding the Chanel Cruise 2008 collection show at Santa Monica airport recently.
So, my question to you is…
Which Chanel 2.55 bag do you prefer? The clear 2.55 Claudia Schiffer is carrying, or Mischa Barton’s 2.55 with metal Chanel logos embossed into the patchwork.
I love Mischa’s because Chanel are constantly revamping the 2.55 and always make one for a slightly younger audience. I just don’t like how you can see right through the clear one (which is the point I suppose), from what I can tell, Schiffer’s doesn’t look like she has much in it. I suppose if you are a supermodel you already have the bonus of good looks on your side.

I love Micha’s bag and have toyed with the idea of obtaining a replica. But I still think I like the classic black quilted the best. Or maybe red… or cream…

Neither. The classic Chanel 2.55 is the best. If you are looking for a classy bag for attending dinner, formal engagements and don’t have a lot of cash to throw around, the classic 2.55 is a good bag to invest in.
Don’t buy a fake Kate! They’re always just rubbery looking.
If i had the cash I’d buy Mischa’s, but since I don’t I’d definitely invest like Tary said.

The real 2.55 bag that Mischa is carrying retails at approx AUD$9,000. Not cheap, but if you have the spare cash why not… then again you could probably buy about 4 small classic 2.55’s for that much.

i want mischa’s but the classics with the cc clasps look soo good too and are way more versatile. god knows i can’t wait to get a job. ha-ha.
