If only you could keep your make forever, that way you could keep your favorite procudct forever with it running out or going 'bad'. But sadly that's not the case. Here's some general guidlines on how long you should keep you make up for:

Mascarra - 3 Months 3 Months:
Mascara, loofah, exfoliating gloves.

Nail Polish - 1 Year 1 Year:
Nail polish.

Make Up Pencil's - 2 Years 2 Years:
Eyeliner & Lip pencils, sunscreen (but check expiry dates)

Face Powders - 3 Years 3 Years:
Face powder. Pressed powder can be used if you scrap off the hard layer on top, loose powder won't last this long in humid weather. Same with eye shadow and blush.

Ages:

Lip Stick Lipsticks. Of course is it starts to smell funny, and have funny colours other than the original one, then... it's time.

Perfume Perfumes. Unless it starts to change colours, you try to mix them, or they don't smell like its suppose to then throw it out!
