Will Kate Moss take wedding dress cues from Gwen Stefani’s Galliano dress?

We’re putting it out there – with all the fuss and hype over Kate Moss‘ wedding (aptly nicknamed Mosstock)and what the bride will be wearing in her wedding to Jamie Hince… we think Kate Moss will be taking wedding dress design cues from Gwen Stefani.

The No Doubt singer also had her wedding dress designed by John Galliano for Dior, the man behind Kate’s dress. Gwen wore the white and pink ombre dress in her 2002 wedding to Gavin Rossdale and has since been donated to the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

We think a pop of colour wouldn’t been a surprise from Kate who has always managed to surpass all expectations when it comes to her personal style. What do you think? It’s not long now until we will see paparazzi shots of Kate’s dress.

Hairy Days: 5 new hair tools we’ve trialled recently

Once upon a time we use to have a very simple hair routine – wash, dry and brush. My hair influences really consisted of my mother using mousse during the 1990s (back when it left your hair nice and crunchy) and then in high school it was all about the Fudge hair colour products. That was probably the extent I really thought about my hair – besides trying to finding the perfect hairdresser for me here in Sydney (that is a whole other post entirely). Then one day in my early 20s a beauty obsessed friend introduced me to hair product, followed closely by a hair straightener and the rest they say is history.

Recently we have spent some time playing with some new hair care tools out in the market and felt that they needed to be spoken about. They are:

  • Schwarzkopf Magic Hair Extensions
  • BioIonic PowerLight Hair Dryer
  • ghd Gold Styler
  • ghd Tail Comb
  • ghd Natural Bristle Radial Brush

Kelly Osborne and Lourdes ‘Lola’ Leon have fun on the Material Girl photoshoot

Macy’s have quite a winning team with Madonna and her daughter Lourdes ‘Lola’ Leon enlisting the help of Kelly Osbourne to create a rather cool series of shots for their Fall 2011 Material Girl collection.

“We have both enjoyed working with Kelly and are thrilled to have her on board for the launch of the Fall 2011 collection,” commented Madonna and her daughter Lola – who both posed with Kelly for a photo after the photoshoot.

Nicknamed MG+NYC, the advertising campaign features Osbourne in and around New York City, from Times Square to Rockefeller Plaza, Soho, the West Village, Little Italy and Chinatown. The interesting catch about this advertising campaign is the personality of Osbourne and Leon shining through in the series of just-released behind the scenes images and the candid behind the scenes video (watch it below).

Osbourne’s winning style distracts you from the fact that the collection, while grungy in a cute way, isn’t exactly awe inspiring but a fitting pairing for the youthful brand.

Romance Was Born held one of my favourite shows at Australian Fashion Week this year, their theatrical shows and designs always manages to take my breathe away. Though for spring/summer 2011-12 they didn’t create elaborate footwear for the runway show, understandable though, models had to walk quite a long distance from the...

Man candy: Versace Menswear S/S 2012 Front Row

I love it when a guy is adorably scruffy in his every day clothes with that just-out-of-bed-hair, but there was no second guessing my opinion when I opened up my inbox to find this picture of Zachary Quinto, Chace Crawford, Ryan Kwanten, Darren Criss, Dwayne Wade and Carmelo Anthony sitting front row at the Versace Menswear...
