Kate Moss’ stray hair extension on eBay

Remember last week when all the fuss over Kate Moss was due to her see-through top and the hair extension she lost on the red carpet in Germany?

Well as all things lost and found seem to go, the hair extension that was picked up by German photographer, John Farr, has been put on eBay with proceeds going to German anti-drug charity, Keine Macht den Drogen (No Power to Drugs).

Farr wrote that the hair piece was “found in the lobby of the Hotel Adlon as she was rushing away from photographers, after her visit to the Watergate club where she was presenting her new perfume.”

Her new perfume is of course, Velvet Hour, and if you want to get your hands on the stray hair piece, bidding is now at €545 – approx USD$860.

Bidding ends on July 3.

What do you think the winning bidder will do with hair piece – use it or cherish it?

Bidding is now at EUR 625 :p

It’s amazing that people are bidding that much on a piece of hair extension. You would donate the money to the charity without the incentive of a stray piece of fake hair. Seriously people. Like Helen said, what ARE you going to do with it? Use it? I’d suggest you wash it 10 times before you do.

That’s just rediculous! Yeah, what are you going to do with it? Frame it? Who would believe you anyway? I guess you can always make a merkin with with.
