Gisele Bundchen sued by carpenter

Gisele Bundchen reportedly earned an estimated $35 million last year, but she will find herself defending a law suit filed against her by a carpenter reports UPI.
Lawyer Keith Ahlers says his client, Martin Marrero, suffered a fractured shoulder, broken ribs and herniated spinal discs after he fell off a staircase in Bundchen’s apartment, the New York Post reported Sunday.
Ahlers alleged that the injuries occurred on a staircase in the apartment that did not have a handrail. The accident occurred as Marrero was renovating Bundchen’s apartment.
Since the incident in September 2006, Marrero has been unable to work and is seeking unspecified damages.

I think this is ridiculous, every person who has dealt with rich celebrities, try to earn money from them.

that’s just stupid. He was probably just clumsy, why should Gisele be sued for that

it’s because of the 35 mil she made, isn’t it?

What a case of opportunism. Surely his insurance covers an accident like this. The handrail probably didn’t exist because he was the one building it! I am pretty sure you cannot build staircases without a guard rail.
