The Marchesa brand is branching into cosmetics thank to Stila. The two brands collaborated together for Fall 2008 and soon the flawless runway look will be available from Sephora in August.
“Stila’s artistry was just as essential to bringing our concept to life as the Christian Louboutin shoes were to completing the look,” said Marchesa designer, Georgina Chapman of the Fall 2008 collection.
Three limited edition faux-leather palettes will be available for cosmetic mavens to customize from a selection of soft feminine hues. Each palette will include a matte eyeshadow, two shimmer shadows, and a mini Kajal eyeliner. For a finishing touch, each palette will be finished off with leather rosettes which can be worn around the wrist or neck.
Each palette will be available exclusively at Sephora from August 2008 while two permanent additions to the Stila collection will be lipstick colours chosen by Chapman and Marchesa co-founder, Keren Craig. Georgina’s lipstick will be a sheer red, while Keren’s colour will be nude. Each will retail for $22.
