We told you Victoria Beckham would be on the April 2008 cover of Vogue

Remember in January we told you Victoria Beckham was shooting a cover for British Vogue with Nick Knight? Well here it is.

In her first cover for Vogue Beckham is glamorous and refined, with the accompanying photoshoot has Beckham posing in a series of outfits accessorized with diamonds channeling the likes of Ava Gardner, Rita Hayworth and Marlene Dietrich.

“The pictures demonstrate the Eliza Dolittle quality of Victoria, veering from mannered hauteur to the trashy sexiness of her exposed back laced with tattoos,” said Alexandra Shulman, editor of British Vogue who interviewed Beckham for the feature in the April 2008 issue.

So what does Beckham talk about in the feature? According to reports she talks about the Spice Girls, family life, her dVb fashion range, her husband and why she doesn’t work out.

“I have joined a gym but I can’t bring myself to start,” Beckham said. “Obviously working out is important – well, I don’t. What do you wear on the running machine? I can’t bring myself to wear flat shoes.”

I found a film of the photo shoot with back stage scenes, it’s on my site. She doesn’t look anything else than her usual self, anyway.

she definitely does not look like herself in these photos.

    besides isn’t she normally orange?

    I think she’s alright.
British Vogue has always been classy.
    I think he’s alright, and they’re alright.
The Beckhams do charity work and are genuine, I think it’s small to pick on them.
They present themselves as a family.
    A positive image.
She is always exquisitely groomed – a much better example to girls than the rubbish dump that is poor Wineey Amehouse.
