Heidi Klum to wear John Galliano for Dior at the Oscars – and you can win the dress!

Before you start wondering if the Oscars will be on for 2008, let’s focus on the fact that Heidi Klum will be wearing a John Galliano for Dior couture red gown to the red carpet event of the year (and not a dress by her Project Runway co-judge, Michael Kors, though this isn’t the first time).

To help raise awareness for a Diet Coke Red Dress program which aims to raise awareness about women and heart disease, Klum will wear the couture gown at the February 24th, 2008 Academy Awards ceremony, then donate the dress to the charity.

“Heidi Klum’s participation helps make this program even bigger and gives consumers a great way to become involved and learn more about a crucial women’s health issue,” said Caren Pasquale Seckler, from Coca-Cola North America in the release. “We’re asking consumers to help us support women’s heart health and giving them a chance to win a one-of-a-kind red dress worn to the Oscars by Heidi Klum.”

While the dress hasn’t been unveiled just yet, Diet Coke consumers will have the chance to win the Oscar-bound couture dress through the sweepstakes at mycokerewards.com. With a preview potentially due on February 1 when Klum takes to the runway for a Diet Coke Red Dress fashion show.

— If the gorgeous John Galliano for Dior dress Klum wore to the Emmy Awards last September was anything to go by, this will be one stunning dress.

I wonder if the dress will be from the last couture collection, or the upcoming one. I hope its one from last season, there was so much drama in the dresses. But no doubt it will be from the upcoming ones because it will be “newer”.
