Marc Jacobs not jealous of John Galliano after all

In July this year, rumours were that Marc Jacobs had been bad mouthing fellow designer, John Galliano. But Jacobs had since denied he said a bad word about him.
“There is no merit to those rumors,” Jacobs confidently stated. “Seriously, supposedly I was saying some less-than-positive stuff about him in the gym. I can assure you they have me confused with someone else!”
While it’s good news, I’m a little sadden that the rumours weren’t true, only because it would have been a modern day Yves Saint Laurent vs Karl Lagerfeld (as written about in The Beautiful Fall: Lagerfeld, Saint Laurent, and Glorious Excess in 1970s Paris).
