Two-year-old Suri Cruise has custom made Christian Louboutin shoes

Who your parents are obviously matters in the world of fashion, especially if you’re two (or you are Bee Shaffer).

OK magazine is reporting that Christian Louboutin made a mold of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s daughters feet to hand-craft shoes for the little girl.

“She’ll be the youngest client,” said a source.

Perhaps mummy and daughter will have matching shoes, though if the rumour is true then Louboutin would have to keep making mold because children’s feet grow rather quickly.

We think these Christian Louboutin Jaws flats would make a great mummy and Suri shoe (note: shoes have been scalled down to a ‘Suri’ size).

The Hills’ Heidi Montag to design ‘Heidiwood’ for Anchor Blue collection

Anchor Blue, a California-based clothing retailer is partnering The Hill’s reality television star, Heidi Montag, to release ‘Heidiwood for Anchor Blue’ clothing collection as well as being the spokesperson for the retail chain.

Now firstly, for those who don’t have MTV or have no idea what The Hill’s is, it’s a semi-reality television show, and from what I’ve seen it pretty much consists of its stars working in jobs ‘a million girls would die for’, gossiping, throwing parties or going clubbing. (But I only saw one episode about 10 times when I was in the US, so I could be way off base as I got really sick of them hitting the same bar and watching Lauren and Heidi ignoring each other.)

Apparently Heidi’s fashion credentials include time in Italy studying apparel design in college, with Heidiwood to be inspired by “the reality star’s personal style.”

“Fashion is something that has always been a passion of mine,” she says and adds, “I really look forward to creating an affordable, fun and sexy line with Anchor Blue. I plan to get my hands dirty on this one. This is something I have always wanted to do and Anchor Blue has enabled me to be an integral part of the design process. ”

Carine Roitfeld a model, a stylist and muse to Tom Ford before French Vogue

Here’s another fashion did you know:

French Vogue Editor-in-Chief and Vogue Hommes International creative director, Carine Roitfeld’s fashion credentials and career came about in a non-tradition way (i.e. without having to labour away doing menial tasks at obscure titles).

Breaking into the industry as a model at 18, Roitfeld soon turned in her modeling shoes to become a writer and fashion stylist where she worked for the likes of French Elle and Italian Vogue Bambini in the eighties and nineties. At an Italian Vogue Bambini shoot in 1986 (where Mario Testino was the photographer), her daughter Julia Restin-Roitfeld was used as a child model.

Making a fantastic styling and photographic team, Roitfeld and Testino worked together on shoots for US and French Vogue, going on to style advertising imagery for Gucci, Missoni, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent and Calvin Klein. Before she became editor of French Vogue in 2001, Roitfeld was working as a consultant and muse for Tom Ford at Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent for six years. Though at the beginning, Roitfeld didn’t quite know who Tom Ford was
