NYFW S/S 2008: Erin Fetherston

This was a very muted collection for a woman who’s designs recently were must-have’s a season ago for her fun and fabulous style. Erin Fetherston’s spring summer 2008 collection featured dresses that were floaty, ruffled, and pretty, the shirts and high waisted shorts were sweet, and a off the shoulder dress reminded me of one seen in the Kate Moss for Topshop collection.
Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t mind wearing the pieces myself, but the collection lacked a bit of… polish.
Perhaps the most fabulous thing about the collection were the furry lashes attached to the models. Or the fact that Anna Wintour, Meredith Melling Burke, Bill Cunningham and Robert Verdi were sitting front row.
