- Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld doesn’t hold back when he’s asked his opinion on some stars going around at the moment. In the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar he said he was “not that impressed” by Jessica Simpson, that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen “don’t have a strong enough image. They still have to make the movie that everybody remembers.” To add to that he thinks they’re frumpy.He’s also not fond of Kate Moss’ junkie boyfriend (or fiancé) Pete Doherty or Heidi Klum’s “Project Runway”. Oh and that Lindsay Lohan plays “dangerously with her own life.”
- After adding Wintersports to their collaboration, Adidas and Stella McCartney add Yoga and Gym wear to the Adidas by Stella McCartney line.
- Yves Saint Laurent goes Western. The Yves Saint Laurent creative director, Sefano Pilati will re-stage his entire Fall/Winter 2006 collection in Dallas, Texas at a Crystal Charity luncheon at Nieman Marcus on September 7.
- Australian designer Lisa Ho is being sued for using the same fabric in their dresses as chain store, Sportsgirl.
- Lily Cole proves she has brains as well as beauty by getting top grades in her A Levels in English, Philosophy & Ethics and Politics.
