CHANNELLING: Chad Michael Murray

Mmmm... Chad Michael Murray. When he first appeared on our TV screens as Tristan in Gilmore Girls he caught the eye of girls around the world. Then again the former Sketchers, Tommy Hilfiger and Gucci model was always bound to turn heads.

Currently staring in One Tree Hill, Chad's style is simple. While men's fashion is probably a lot simpler than women's, the main ideals should be taken into account. And the great thing about Chad is that he doesn't follow the mainstream trends of dressing like a gangster or the overly polished metro male. Instead he mixes the classics together to create his own individual stye.

He matches the classic jeans with good old flip flips, and throwing a shirt over a printed 80s style t-shirt. He also rolls up the sleeves and adds a simple trucker hat to create his own look. For red carpet events, his wife Sophia Bush is almost always found at his arm, and he lets her dazzle the cameras in her pretty dresses while he sticks to classic cut suits in complimenting colours - after all sticking to black all the time can get dull.

As a former high school footballer, Chad keeps fit by playing sports and working out in the gym. But his wardrobe is so well rounded that it's not filled with sportswear and trainers. He's definitely a male style icon with a different take on fashion.
