Take a yoga class at Sydney Airport with Lorna Jane

Now you have an excuse for rocking up to Sydney Airport in your yoga gear – you can squeeze in a yoga session before your flight! Lorna Jane has just opened an Active Living Room at T2 Domestic terminal, making it the first Active Living Room available in an airport around the world.

Flying can be draining on the mind and body, what with the waiting around, delayed fights, and the many many sights, sounds and people that can disturb your sense of calm. Now you can pop into the Lorna Jane Active Living Room for a yoga or pilates session, get a health snack and get on your flight (or as you get off your flight).

“People are more mindful of their health than ever before so it makes sense to bring our Active Living Room concept to Sydney’s T2 Domestic terminal and provide passengers with the opportunity to put their health first, even when travelling,” Lorna Jane Founder and Chief Creative Officer Lorna Jane Clarkson said.

“The Lorna Jane Active Living Room is a global airport first for Sydney Airport and the unique health and wellbeing offering forms part of our wider improvements program designed to create an enhanced airport experience for passengers. The new space affords our passengers an opportunity to experience a greater sense of well being within the airport environment,” Sydney Airport General Manager, Retail Glyn Williams.

The newly opened Lorna Jane Active Living Room is located in Sydney Airport’s T2 Departures, you can do Yoga and Pilates classes for just $12 with classes will running for 45 minutes, Monday – Friday. I know what I will be doing before my next flight out of Sydney – pilates!
