Net-A-Porter launches a luxury beauty sampler box

Beauty sampler boxes have been all the rage for the last two years, with the prices ranging from a cheap $20 all the way to $120. But I have yet to find one that really makes me want to ‘add to cart’ until I received an email about the Net-A-Porter’s new limited edition Net-A-Beauty Box.

“We’ve welcomed so many amazing brands to our beauty portfolio this year and we wanted to create a curated assortment of our favorite items specifically for the season,” David Olsen, Vice-President of Net-A-Porter Beauty tells us. “Each product has been carefully selected and defines our luxury beauty vision of offering customers the quintessential edit.”

Retailing for a reasonable price of AUD$50, the box includes 8 cult beauty products that are perfect for the Southern Hemisphere winter. It includes samples of Eyeko + Alexa Chung’s ‘Eye Do’ Liquid Eyeliner, Verso’s retinol 8-infused Day Cream, Kahina Giving Beauty’s ‘Fez’ Body Serum, Hourglass’ satin-smooth Extreme Sheen High Shine Lip Gloss, SACHAJUAN’s Hair Repair, Ren Skincare’s Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil and Rahua’s Ungurahua Oil-enriched Voluminous Shampoo & Conditioner Set.

As a Net-A-Porter fan already, their beauty addition last year peeked our interest as the luxury fashion retailer were not stocking your usual luxury department store brands, instead introducing the internet to some lesser known but equally prestigious beauty brands.

It’s not just us who picks up our stock of Charlotte Tilbury and Kevin Aucoin cosmetics (both unavailable in Australia) from Net-A-Porter, with the beauty category reportedly being incredibly popular and going from strength to strength.

“We started with 11 brands last year and now stock over 80. The NET-A-PORTER.COM customer shops for her complete ‘look’ in the truest sense – from the dress to the underpinnings, the bag, shoes and now the lipstick,” adds Olsen.

We can wait to put our order in for the Net-A-Beauty Box, with the addition of some of the new Charlotte Tilbury products of course.
