Interview: Want it Now founders Fiona and Emma chat fashion and business

Australian online retail has often suffered criticism about their delivery times, something ordered from a local retailer could take longer than an order made in the USA or Europe. But all that changed when sisters Emma Cronin and Fiona Pearse set their minds to changing it with their business Want It Now.

With years of experience in the courier service industry, Emma and Fiona set out to make online shopping feel just like the instant gratification that in-store retail shopping is. How? Well, Want It Now partners with retailers to offer a three-hour delivery service to Melbourne and Sydney central areas, with guaranteed delivery slots and twilight delivery. But as they say on game shows, that’s not all. The web and tech savvy women have also created a smartphone app that allows you to track the exact location of your parcel so you can duck out to get that coffee or to pick up the dry cleaning before the parcel arrives.

We sat down with Emma and Fiona with our good friend Tash Williams from Breakfast With Audrey a few weeks ago to chat to them about their thoughts of fashion, business and most importantly, family.

We’ve had the pleasure of using the Want It Now delivery service when shopping on Style Tread for shoes and we were very surprised to see our order arrive in less than 2 hours. And I didn’t have to fight the shopping crowds! Perfect for speedy Christmas deliveries because Want it Now are offering their speedy delivery service up until Christmas Eve, ensuring no one is left out on Christmas Day. Take that un-reliable Australia Post!
