Elin Kling to attend Australian Fashion Week and launch her label Nowhere with MyCatwalk

She’s modelled for Net-A-Porter, has her own H&M collection and now fashion model turned blogger Elin Kling of Style by Kling is set to launch the Spring/Summer 2012 collection of  her own fashion label Nowhere during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia (MBFWA) with local retailer MyCatwalk.

According to the release:

Nowhere is an accessible, contemporary label that offers up the clean-cut, slightly boyish style that has countless readers scouring Style By Kling for daily outfit inspiration. The label balances function with originality by focusing on key wardrobe pieces punctuated by creatively cut silhouettes.

Check out her previous collection on Nowhere’s official site – with it’s sleek lines and reasonable prices, it’s no surprise that MyCatwalk’s creative director Marlene Mangioni says that “Nowhere is one of the most exciting brands I have come across in my career. Elin Kling’s creative direction and worldwide style status made the Nowhere brand a stand out for me, and after meeting her in New York, I instantly knew it was the perfect collaboration for MyCatwalk.”

On a side note, MBFWA will see a partial Now Manifest reunion with Kling joined in Australia for fashion week by her fellow bloggers Bryan Boy and Rumi Neely of Fashion Toast. Kling will be sitting front row at the Australian Fashion Week shows of MyCatwalk’s local designers through the week, while the launch party for Nowhere will be held mid fashion week. Stay tuned for photos from the launch.

Nowhere will launch on MyCatwalk and in all four MyCatwalk stores in June 2012. It’s currently only stocked at Urban Outfitters and Nelly.com.
