Karl Lagerfeld for Net-A-Porter to launch simultaneously in Paris, New York, London, Berlin and Sydney

The fashion world goes gaga every time Karl Lagerfeld releases a collection and his eagerly anticipated collaboration with Net-A-Porter is no different with the luxury etailer announcing that the KARL collection will launch with simultaneous launch events across the globe.

With a worldwide launch date of January 25, the collection will be revealed through coordinated global launch with pop-up window shops showcasing the KARL collection on vinyl graphics in in Paris, New York, London, Berlin and Sydney.

But as they say on game shows, that is not all! By using the Net-A-Porter KARL app visitors can shop and win by scanning products using their iPhone or iPad2. Visitors to the window shop will receive limited edition KARL goodie bags and t-shirts, with the first fifty visitors receiving a pair of iconic KARL leather gloves or a collar from the collection.

If you’re not able to make it down to any of the store locations (after all it in Australia Day, its Australia Day on the 26th), the collection will also be celebrated online through exclusive video footage of Karl Lagerfeld himself and winners will be announced for the competitions.
