Sass & Bide, Zimmermann and Ksubi for does ‘Fashion For Kiehl’s’ Creme de Corps

Christmas always seems to bring the fashion and beauty industries together, following news of the Michael Kors and Estee Lauder collaboration, Kiehl’s Australia have announced that they have launched Fashion for Kiehl’s.

Three of Australia’s leading fashion brands, Sass & Bide, Ksubi and Zimmermann, team up with the iconic beauty house to created limited edition bottles of their cult favourite Crème de Corps body crème for the 2011 holiday season with the proceeds of the sale going to Australian children’s charities of the brands choosing.

Each Crème de Corps design is unique to the individual labels Spring/Summer 2011-12 offerings. Sass & Bide opted for colour blocking with a brightly coloured bottle with strong geometric shapes. Asked about the inspiration, they said that they were “inspired by the imaginative world of children where colours clash and contract with each other.

According to Ksubi‘s George Gorrow, they chose to bring a raw edge to their design: “we wanted to make something raw and fun so we used a black and white theme with hand drawn illustrations that have a distinct child like quality. We were inspired by kids, game shows, tatts, punk flyers, our friends.”

Meanwhile our personal favourite, Zimmermann chose to keep things pretty with the gorgeous floral print. Nicky Zimmermann chose the print because of the “mix of colours, it feels summery in a soft vintage way.”

Ever since their price drop in Australia, Kiehl’s appeal has grown in leaps and strides in my book. The Fashion for Kiehl’s holiday 2011 collection of Crème de Corps moisturiser starts at $15 for a 75ml bottle to $98 for a 1litre bottle. For the perfect Christmas gift, we love the limited edition trio for $45 for all three 75ml bottles.

Why we love Kiehl’s Crème de Corps? It’s considered the most hydrating, rich body moisturizer in the Kiehl‘s line. It sinks into the skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth with no greasy finish.
