Christopher Kane collaborates with J Brand for Resort 2012
We kind of adore Christopher Kane, not just because he’s the man behind Versace’s sister line Versus, but because he loves colour – perfect for the current colour-blocking trend. With that in mind he has just revealed the Christopher Kane Resort 2012 denim collection, created in collaboration with celebrity favourite J Brand.
The pairing is the first of what will be a long term partnership and business venture, though the press release didn’t specify any more details. But business aside we love that the collaboration gives us denim essentials in classic denim washes (white, medium and dark) but also in bold neon variations. J Brand were one of my must-shop brands last season when they released a collection of the most beautifully coloured jeans in the softest denim, and it looks like they’re not letting me down again.
Christopher Kane Resort 2012, including the J Brand collaboration denim, will hit stores in mid November, to be stocked at Net-A-Porter.com, Liberty, Harvey Nichols and Harrrods.
