DKNY and DKNY Jeans have just announced that they have signed Twilight star Ashley Greene as the newest face for their Spring/Summer 2012 ad campaign, currently being photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
“I’ve always loved Donna Karan’s creations. To be a part of the brands’ message is incredibly exciting because it feels like such an organic fit. It’s easy to talk about how these clothes work for my lifestyle, whether I’m in New York, L.A. or traveling for work,” Greene says in a press release announcing the news.
Greene has been signed for an exclusive one year agreement with the American brand, a relationship which began when she wore DKNY to the Berlin premiere of Twilight Eclipse last year, followed by a front row seat to the DNKY Spring/Summer 2010 fashion show during New York Fashion Week. The beautiful friendship was further solidified when Donna Karan designed a custom gown for Greene to wear to the 2011 Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum.
