Gareth Pugh x Absolut Vodka throws a party in Paris with Thakoon & Lindsay Lohan in attendance

Fashion and alcohol can sometimes go hand in hand, especially when a celebration is in order. So it comes as no surprise that Absolut Vodka has teamed up with Gareth Pugh to design a limited edition bottle that reflects his love of geometric forms.

Known for creating otherworldly silhouettes that makes the wearer look like they’re from a different planet, Pugh has created a bottle with twelve facets and wrapped in a midnight blue silk cloth embroidered band.

“I wanted to create something epic for my collaboration with ABSOLUT,” explained Pugh. “I began by thinking of an ‘ABSOLUT Gareth Pugh’ and I decided to choose an outfit from my archive, something that I feel captures the essence of my work which I could use to ‘dress’ the ABSOLUT Mode Edition bottle and in a very abstract way.”

After his Paris Fashion Week show last night, Pugh held court at the Silencio in Paris at a party to celebration his collaboration with Absolut with a rather fashionable crowd that included the likes of Michelle Harper, Tom Guinness, Thakoon Panichgul, Bruno Frisoni, Delfina Delletrez-Fendi, Gaia Repossi, Lindsay Lohan, Ellen von Unwerth and more.

The Absolut x Gareth Pugh bottle is available exclusively from W Hotel, London and from Colette in Paris – but according to the pre-order listing online it is sold out. Even with it’s hefty €350 price tag (€292.64 if you don’t have to pay VAT).

Pugh joins an illustrious list of fashion designers to create a limited edition for Absolut Mode, including Tom Ford, Versace, Stella McCartney and Jean Paul Gaultier.
