Rihanna to join Megan Fox as a face of Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans

This is news we weren’t expecting – Rihanna has been announced as the new global “testimonial” for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans for Autumn/Winter 2011-12. The sultry singer will join a line up at Emporio Armani Underwear that includes Megan Fox and tennis ace Rafael Nadal.

According to the release, Rihanna’s first advertising campaign for both brands was shot on location in New York City recently and will break in September 2011.

We’re not quite sure exactly what testimonial means, in Armani speak, but this is the only the second fashion partnership (her first being an ad campaign for Gucci’s Tattoo Heart Collection) Rihanna has signed since she topped charts around the world.
