Lily Cole returns to the runway for the Triumph Inspiration Awards in Berlin

She’s conquered Cambridge University, now British model Lily Cole has made a runway comeback during Berlin Fashion Week at the Triumph Inspiration Awards last night. As the official face of the event, Cole took to he runway to for the finale of the awards show, walking out with the winner of the Most Beautiful Lingerie Piece of the Year award winner, Borlarka Bodis from Hungary, wearing her design “Les Fleurs du Mal”.

Cole was part of the judging panel that also included supermodel Helena Christensen, Ellen von Unwerth (who also shot the campaign for the awards), singer Coco Lee, and CEO of the Premium Exhibition GmbH Anita Tillmann and Jos Berry who is Brand Executive Director for Triumph.

“I still can’t believe that I won! The past days were so exciting – and I am very proud that ‘Les Fleurs du Mal’ impressed the judges the most!”, said the 35-year-old Bodis.

Bodis walks away with the title of The Triumph Inspiration Award winner 2011, as well as a €15,000 cash prize and the commercial realization of the winning design.

It’s good to see Cole back on the runway, I hope we see her in print again soon.
