Behind the scenes: Heidi Mount for Samantha Wills Spring/Summer 2011

Last month we had a look at the Heidi Mount for Samantha Wills Spring/Summer 2011 ‘Portraits of Dusk’ ad campaign and after a clear out of our desktop we realised we had left some behind the scenes images off the post.

We love behind the scenes images that include a peek at the crew at work – by looking at the beautiful final imagery you have no how just how many hands it takes to put together a photo shoot. Photographer Lachlan Bailey would have had a team of assistants in attendance, as well as stylist Alastair Mckimm. Not to mention Samantha Wills herself and some of her staffs and the hair and make up team. I think the only person who was just one person would have been Heidi Mount as most models don’t attend photo shoots with an entourage (unless you’re Heidi Klum).

We also wanted to say a quick thank you to Samantha for her thank you note and gift we received in the post – a hand written thank you note is such a lovely touch and a rarity these days. She’s inspired us to go on the hunt for some thank you cards so we can start showing our thanks to people who have done things above and beyond what they need to.
