Behind the scenes: Abbey Lee Kershaw for Portmans S/S 2011-12

Abbey Lee Kershaw for Portmans - Behind the Scenes

I miss carefree summer days where the sun seems to shine forever and every weekend is just as idyllic as the next. Australian fashion fashion chain Portmans and Abbey Lee Kershaw have given us a little taste of things to come with their new Spring/Summer 2011 advertising campaign, photographed in the sunny city of Los Angeles by Matt Jones.

Styled again by Harper’s Bazaar fashion editor Christine Centenera (who is working with Kanye West right now) the campaign celebrates the beauty of the City of Angels and its famous sights and sounds like those palm tree lined streets, the classic Orpheum Theatre, Rodeo Drive and Chateau Marmount.

Check out the behind the scenes video of the Portman’s Spring/Summer 2011-12 ad campaign shoot above.

It was an easy choice to enlist Kershaw for a second campaign (check out the first here) according to Portmans’ Marketing Manager, Natalie Flegg:

“After the positive response to our first campaign with Abbey Lee Kershaw, it was the natural choice for us to continue with her as the face of Portmans for the next season. Abbey is the quintessential Australian girl. She is professional when on the job, and such fun to have around during down time. Abbey really came to life on the streets of Los Angeles, where we shot the spring summer campaign, and it was yet again apparent why she’s ranked number one Australian model in the world.”

With some chic looking clothes for Spring/Summer, we want to experience our own LA love affair with Portmans. Now if only someone would fly us there and put us up at Chateau Marmount….
