Video: Heather Marks for Nars’ Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil

Iris Strubegger may be the face of the new Nars Cosmetics Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil collection – that takes the idea of a lipstick into a jumbo-sized crayon design with a luminous finish – but its Heather Marks’ beautiful lips that were given the starring role in Ruth Hogben’s accompanying film.

Known for her worth with the likes of Nick Knight, Alexander McQueen and Gareth Pugh, Hogben is no stranger to the high fashion and glamour world, and her film shows off the seductive nature of a good lip colour. Not surprisingly the film showcases all six shades of the Nars Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil with all the makeup looks created by Diane Kendal.

But what is Heather saying as she lip-synch’s her way throughout the 70 second clip? The names of each lip colour of course: Baroque, Happy Days, New Lover, Frivolous, Hopi, and Club Mix.
