Georgia May Jagger’s Hudson partnership extends into design

It was only a matter of time before Georgia May Jagger started designing clothes as well as modelling them. She’s been the face of Hudson Jeans since mid 2009 and now she has gone from fronting their ad campaigns to designing her own collection – aptly named Hudson by Georgia May Jagger.

Hudson by Georgia May Jagger will be made up of five styles and was designed in collaboration with Hudson’s head designer and creative director Benjamin Taverniti (pictured). StyleWatch also reports that the collection will launch in Neiman Marcus next month and that Georgia May was more hands on than most would think, with reps saying that she submitted sketches and oversaw the design process.

“My collection has a whole new cut,” Jagger says in a release. We are “using new kinds of stretch denim fabrics exclusively developed for us which make them very comfortable.” All the designs have skinny leg openings and are “a mid-rise which is great for us shorter girls and also very flattering.”
