Firenze4Ever 2nd Edition: Day 1 – First Impressions

A friend told me that I would love Italy, especially Florence the minute I landed was right. Thanks to LuisaViaRoma, I was able to experience the sights and sounds of Italy’s former capital city up close and very personal. Coming from Australia where the modern cities are only a few hundred years old, the history and the culture in Europe always amazes me. So when I arrived at the beautiful JK Place, a lovely boutique hotel right near the Santa Maria Novella church on Thursday January 6, I felt like the luckiest girl in the world.

After soaking in the sight of the Duomo and the fabulous cobblestoned streets, I headed back to my hotel to get ready for the Welcome aperitivo at the LuisaViaRoma store. We met so many amazing fashion bloggers from all corners of the world – China, Israel, USA and of course Italy. But little did I know, a flu I felt coming on on the plane was about to hit. Ah the joys of travel.

Check out the hotel room key with the church engraved on it – unfortunately I didn’t get to keep the key like the hotel swipe cards you get in the big hotels).

Note: SASSYBELLA.com was invited to Florence by LuisaViaRoma to take part in their Firenze4Ever Blogger Event and were not paid/is under no obligation to blog about the event.
