Karl Lagerfeld’s photographs to help Vanessa Paradis to sell records

We all know that Vanessa Paradis and Karl Lagerfeld go way back, the pair first collaborated at Chanel when she fronted the advertising campaign for Chanel’s Coco fragrance in 1992, then most recently Lagerfeld designed the costumes for Paradis’ latest film, Heartbreaker and he photographed her in an editorial for Madame Figaro.

Now the pair has collaborated again to lure Paradis and Lagerfeld fans into spending € 143.50 on a deluxe edition of her album Une nuit à Versailles (One Night in Versailles) which is a live recording from an acoustic show recorded in July at the Royal Opera of the Palace of Versailles. The Deluxe edition of Une nuit à Versailles is limited to 1,500 copies and features a CD recording of the concert, a DVD of the concert directed by Francis Goetghebeur, a book and images from an exclusive photoshoot by Karl Lagerfeld.

Who needs iTunes when you can score some fashionable memorabilia while buying a cd?
