First look: Gisele Bundchen for Balenciaga Spring 2011
It was a surprise when Gisele Bundchen walked for Balenciaga’s spring 2011 show in Paris, but it’s almost more surprising that Nicolas Ghesquière has enlisted her for the brands ad campaign as well. Mind you, while they have made the most of having the Brazilian supermodel in their campaign, they didn’t just curl her hair and sex her up. Rather, stylist Marie-Amélie Sauvé gave her a edgy, almost boyish, new look. According to WWD, the campaign was photographed by Steven Meisel with male model Yuri Pleskun accompanying Gisele in some of the shots.
I want to see more of this campaign already! Don’t you?
