Blogger Diaries: Regular posting will resume shortly as we recover from our (working) holiday in Las Vegas

We’ve been at a blogging conference, in the fast and fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. Of course we tacked on a holiday to that so we took a small break from posting. It was rather guilt ridden because we have so much to post about (Lanvin for H&M images anyone?). And because we did a bit of shopping. A lot of shopping. Unfortunately we didn’t set cash registers a light at the new Lanvin store at the shiny new City Centre shops though. Regular posting will resume in the next 24 – 48 hours.

A small recap of our travels:

We were in Las Vegas to attend the Blog World Conference and New Media Expo 2010, we heard from many successful bloggers (both content and money wise – let’s face it, juggling a FT job and a newsy content blog is a 20 hour a day gig) and met some fabulous people.

In our down time, the gorgeous Bree of The Blog Stylist and I attended a few after parties, experienced some Las Vegas nightlife courtesy of Jet at the Mirage (thanks Ryan!), XS at Encore and a few random bars that fellow travelers were visiting. And when in Las Vegas… no experience is complete with attending a Las Vegas wedding at the Viva Las Vegas wedding chapel – a vowel renewal for Emma and Denis of Thirty Dollar Date Night. Check out the video on YouTube. We shared a stretch limo (is there any other way to travel when in Vegas?) in the company of some of the world’s most well known bloggers – on the subject of blogging aka Darren Rowse and Chris Garrett.

And we walked through the Caesars Place lobby and thought about the scenes from The Hangover where Alan asks if the real Caesar lived there, we took a gondola down the ‘river’ through the Venetian with a loved up Italian couple (where the man serenaded his new wife in front of us) and watched the Fountains of Bellagio (many times).

And of course we can’t forget all our shopping at the Forum Shops, Miracle Mile, Fashion Show Mall, Premium Fashion Outlets and every other casino on the strip. I also found time to visit the Spa Reliquary at the Hard Rock Hotel, but more on that very soon. It was so much fun we wished we were still there lapping it all up. There’s always Blog World 2011 for take two!
