Hogan by Karl Lagerfeld, a spring/summer 2011 capsule collection
It’s the day for designer collaborations to be announced. Fresh off the news of Lanvin for H&M, Italian fashion house Hogan have announced that they have worked on a special project with Karl Lagerfeld – aptly named, Hogan by Karl Lagerfeld. The pair created on an exclusive spring/summer 2010 women’s capsule collection which will include ready-to-wear and accessories that will be unveiled during Paris Fashion Week on October 2, 2010. Also unveiled on the day will be a Hogan by Karl Lagerfeld short movie created and filmed by the Kasier himself. According to the short statement, Hogan by Karl Lagerfeld is an ‘exceptional partnership embracing the unquestionable wonder of Karl Lagerfeld and Hogan’s original philosophy, an example of unique and timeless lifestyle.”
There’s no word on a price range, but we guesstimate it at around the 50 – 300 Euro mark. As for the launch date? It should be around the time S/S collections should drop – in February/March 2011.
