First look: Elyse Taylor, the new face of Diva Accessories Summer 2010-11

Diva Accessories are making big strides into being taken seriously as a credible fashion brand, first by teaming up with Alex Perry for a designer collaboration and now by signing Australian model Elyse Taylor as its face of summer 2010-11.

Having modeled for the likes of Victoria’s Secret, Dolce & Gabbana, Lavin and local fashion chains Sportsgirl and Just Jeans, Elyse was welcomed in her new role of the official face of Diva by the brands owner Brett Blundy, saying in a release:

“We are thrilled to have globally recognised model, Elyse Taylor represent diva for our Summer 2010-11 campaign. Elyse was an obvious choice for diva as she embodies the diva philosophy of being young, fun and glamorous.

“We believe Elyse’s profile will compliment the direction diva has taken as a world class accessories brand and leader in fashion retail and will further enhance our brand internationally. We look forward to working with Elyse as the brand continues to grow as the world’s leading destination for on trend accessories.”

I love the sweet girlie feel that the Diva Summer 2010-11 campaign has, Elyse certainly brings a whole new fashion dimension to the brand. I’m looking forward to seeing more of the campaign, I just hope the prices don’t keep going up as Diva strives for greater credibility.

She has done some incredible work, and Diva will benefit from her. However, for some reason, I just don’t care for her look, she always looks a little ‘stuck-up’ to me.
