Vogue’s Creative Director, Grace Coddington is working on her memoirs!
She is the 69-year-old flame hair fashion editor who stole the show from Anna in the cult fashion documentary The September Issue. Grace Coddington has a whole new fan base thanks to the popularity of the documentary and WWD has revealed that she is working on her memoirs with Jay Fielden. “We’re just starting, and I think it’s going to be a really fun project,” Coddington told WWD, adding: “I’m hoping it’s going to be very rich in fashion history. It’s more than just about me.” We sure hope so! Coddington was a model back in the 1960s and could tell us more about the inner workings of the fashion industry than most pundits could. The proposal is due with the publishers this Northern Hemisphere Fall with Feilden reportedly spending a lot of time with Coddington and interviewing her network of people around her.
