Roberto Cavalli celebrates 40th anniversary with a new logo

It’s hard to believe the Italian fashion house of Roberto Cavalli has been around for 40 years. With its golden tan and love of prints the man behind the brand almost seems forever young (perhaps much like a leather car seat cover). Nonetheless Cavalli have had a special logo designed to celebrate 40 years of the Maison which incorporates the current logo into the number 40 – which represents perfection according to the release.

The release continues:

‘The digits making up the symbol create another emblem, rich in meaning for Roberto Cavalli – that of Venus, who in mythology represents Aphrodite, goddess of beauty and love. She celebrates Roberto Cavalli’s love of women and all the passion that this designer has dedicated to them in 40 years, enhancing their femininity and sensuality.’

No word on where this logo will be featured, but there will be a celebratory book and we do expect a big birthday bash sometime this year and perhaps limited edition items to celebrate the milestone.
