It seems every time a major grand slam rolls around Russian tennis glamour girl Maria Sharapova announces a new sponsorship deal. With Wimbledon well under way, we hear that the latest brand to join a line that includes Tiffany & Co, Tag Heur and Cole Hann is Evian water for their Live Young campaign. Playing on their record-breaking roller babies video, Evian dressed Sharapova in a white t-shirt with a babies body printed on it. It comes as no surpise that
“The idea of youth as a state of mind caught my attention. I took a great pleasure in revealing my ‘baby inside’ while modeling for these photographs with Nathaniel Goldberg,” said Sharapova. “I am a true evian drinker and I really like this campaign as well as the idea behind it so it felt quite natural to join in.”
Sharapova is joined in the campaign by 5 other models who are promoting the Live Young ideal currently being promoted by Evian. It’s a shame Evian didn’t align themselves with some more famous faces, ones from other sporting worlds or actors.
