Akira Isogawa’s A/W 2010 collection on display at Japan Foundation Gallery

Japanese-born Australian fashion designer Akira Isogawa hasn’t shown a runway collection in Australia for years after choosing to move his runway shows to Paris. But for those who have missed seeing his beautiful collections (outside of his boutiques), his Autumn/Winter 2010 collection will be unveiled to the public for the first time this month at the Japan Foundation Gallery at Sydney’s Chifley Plaza.
From June 3rd to 25th, 50 pieces from Isogawa’s Autumn/Winter 2010 collection will be on display before it hits stores this August 2010 (following the international seasons). Although admission is free the opening hours are from Monday – Friday from 11am to 4pm, making it rather difficult for those with a day job to catch the exhibition.
