Christian Louboutin destroy their red-soled shoes in a video against fakes
You have to love it when a piece of marketing spreads virally. Like a video which features a truck driving over a pile of red-soled Christian Louboutin heels. A few hearts would have broken when they watched the video, but it turns out the shoes were fake and was released by an observer who was there watch the destruction of counterfeit Louboutin’s. “I hope that little motion-picture destruction… gets picked up virally,” said Harley Lewin, partner at McCarter & English LLP, who represents Louboutin on intellectual property issues. In their fight against fakes, Christian Louboutin has launched a new website www.stopfakelouboutin.com to announce their zero tolerance policy against fakes and call out online retailers that sell fake products.
