First look at the airbrushed haven that is Victoria Beckham and Eva Longoria Parker for LG

We told last week that Victoria Beckham and Eva Longoria Parker had teamed up with LG for their Fashion Touch line of mobile phones. Needless to say we were a little shocked at the airbrush promo that came with it. But we found the official ad campaign images… photographed by none other than Ellen von Unwerth where Beckham is promoting the LG Lotus Elite phone with a theme of ‘edgy and bold’ while Longoria Parker is pushing the LG Rumor Touch with its ‘sleek and sophisticated’ theme.

Like the preview we gave you last week, the final results are… well as expected.

LG Mobile Phones are hoping consumers will ‘flaunt their fashion touch’ through and give the touchscreen mobile market a shake with their two new touchscreen devices which are considerably smaller than the iPhone and the Blackberry. And of course roped in the stylish friends to help.

“We don’t believe you should have to compromise your personal style or productivity, when it comes to your choice of mobile phone,” said Ehtisham Rabbani, vice president of marketing and innovation for LG Mobile Phones. “We are thrilled to be working with Victoria and Eva; their involvement in the campaign highlights the relevancy of our design credo and reinforces the LG style heritage.”

Ed’s note: I don’t know if this campaign shows design ‘credo’, instead it shows major marketing $$ to sign those two up

The LG Fashion Touch campaign will see the overly airbrushed ads promoted in print, online, in a series of MTV vignettes and an event in Los Angeles to ‘to celebrate the integration of fashion and technology’.

Luckily it doesn’t cost much to flaunt your fashion touch with Sprint retail channels selling the LG Lotus Elite for $99.99 and the LG Rumor Touch for $79.99 with two year contract plans.

Will you be considering adding either LG phones to your wish list?
