Project Runway alum Sweet P and Jeffery Sebelia land new design gigs

They may not be designing Oscar dresses for Meryl Streep like fellow Project Runway alum, Chris March, but Sweet P and Jeffery Sebelia have new fashion design gigs. Sweet P has joined the design team for Trixxi sportswear while Sebelia was named the Head Designer for Fluxus. “I hope to add my quirky sensibility of light fun and frivolity to the line,” commented Sweet P who was a contestant on the fourth season of Project Runway. “It is exciting to be part of a progressive female-led company that is both fast-paced and family-oriented.” Congratulations!

How on earth did Meryl Streep decide to ask Chris March (whom I do love by the way) to design her Oscar dress?

Wow. Chris March made that dress? Meryl was stunning that night. And I remember he was so cheesy early in that season. A costumier, if I recall. He’s come a very long way.

Big fan of Chris March too and didn’t know he designed Meryl’s dress. She looked so elegant – not what you would expect from March’s parade / showboat style. Saw him on Biggest Loser with new sideburns / chops – looks great!
