Paris Fashion Week F/W 2010: Faux fur and Swedish icebergs on the runway for Chanel

“Fake is not chic – we have got a new Chanel tweed to stop copies – but fake fur is,” Karl Lagerfeld said backstage at the Chanel fall/winter 2010 show. “It’s not global warming, it’s global-cooling!”

What wasn’t fake was the icebergs brought in from Sweden to the Grand Palais for the purpose of the Chanel show. It created the perfect backdrop to a collection which featured fur, fur and more fur – all fake. Fake fur boots, bags, coats, trousers and trimming the classic Chanel tweed jackets. It wasn’t one of the stand out collections from Lagerfeld, but it is quite interesting when a big fashion house chooses to do fake fur instead of promoting the real thing.

Thanks for giving your ideas. I’d perslnaloy also like to say that video games have been ever evolving. Today’s technology and innovations have helped create reasonable and enjoyable games. Most of these entertainment games were not that sensible when the real concept was being tried out. Just like other kinds of technology, video games as well have had to advance by way of many ages. This itself is testimony towards the fast development of video games.
