Scarlett Johansson designs bag with Mango for Haiti relief

Move over Kate Moss, Scarlett Johansson has teamed up with Spanish chain store Mango to design a handbag – where a part of its profits will be donated to Oxfam International in support of the people of Haiti. The simple tote bag features a ancient cartography of Haiti with the message “supporting the people of Haiti” printed near the handles.

“I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Mango to promote conscious consumerism and to benefit Oxfam’s Haiti Earthquake Response Fund,” Johansson said in a release. “By purchasing this bag, which I specially designed, you are helping to provide life saving assistance like clean water to the people of Haiti.”

The Scarlett Johansson designed Supporting People of Haiti handbag will be available at over 1,390 Mango stores around the world from March 2010.
