Eau de Balenciaga Paris: Nicolas Ghesquiere talks about the ad and Charlotte Gainsbourg

Charlotte Gainsbourg is one lucky girl, great genes aside she can probably call Balenciaga’s Nicolas Ghesquiere a good friend while he calls her his muse and the face of their first fragrance in 12 years. Called Balenciaga Paris, it launches in Bergdorf Goodman next week. So of course a “making of” video has leaked online where Ghesquiere talks about the inspiration for the fragrance, the bottle and of course the inspiration behind the campaign. Unfortunately for those who didn’t learn advanced French, you won’t be able to understand much in the video because it’s all in French without subtitles. Those who can (or still want to look at the pretty pictures) can watch it below.
