Vogue staffers told to take the subway
Word on the street is that American Vogue staffers have been told to forgo their private town cars and cab ride for the subway trains. The mandate was laid down by their new publisher Susan Plagemann with a source telling Page Six that “senior people have been told they must take more subways to meetings as opposed to Town Cars to save money.” We know Grace Coddington takes the subway to work already, so we wonder if the new policy includes like likes of Anna Wintour, Hamish Bowles and Andre Leon Talley.
