Mark Fast’s star is rising quickly after he made waves at London Fashion Week last September, now the young London-based Canadian designer is launching a lower-price range of form fitting nylon and elastane knits called Faster. The pieces will still feature his signature cobweb details but “The concept here is accessibility,” Fast tells WWD. “These are things you can wear with the main collection, as underpinnings, or by themselves. The main collection is done on domestic machines, with a person knitting one dress at a time. [Faster] is done with a factory in Italy.”
