Haute Couture S/S 2010: Christian Dior
So it’s Haute Couture week again which means we expect theatrics from John Galliano at Christian Dior (and a collection inspired by a bygone era like the 20s, 30s, 40s, or 50s). This spring/summer 2010 haute couture season in Paris, Galliano took inspiration from a few different sources: the world of equestrian, the eccentric American millionaires Millicent Rogers and the era of “The Gibson Girl”. Dubbed by the Telegraph’s fashion editor Hilary Alexander as one of Galliano’s “most romantic, inspired and perfectionist best” collections, we must admit we love the show and intricate detailing that is haute couture. Now watch the video from the show below and let us know what you think!
